About me
Palak Gupta is an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist for Hunger Solutions at Utah State University. With a PhD in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Delhi and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of South Florida, she has spent the last 15 years researching the impacts of hunger and poverty on community health. Prior to her current role, Palak worked with the Florida Department of Health, UNICEF, and Save the Children. Her work focuses on addressing nutrition insecurity and social determinants of health through innovative programs and research. Passionate about serving diverse populations, Palak is dedicated to improving food security and overall health in Utah. In her personal time, she enjoys exploring cultural cuisines and advocating for social justice.
