About me
Maxine Gilmore began her afterschool professional career as a Group Leader at the Emerson Elementary After-School Program. From there, she had the opportunity to advance to Coordinator positions at Emerson, Lincoln (now Liberty), M. Lynn Bennion, and North Star Elementary After-School Programs, working with both Title I and fee-based programs. Her next role was as an Afterschool Coach, where I supported 32 afterschool sites within the Community Education program at SLCSD. Currently, she serves as an Administrative Assistant for the Community Education Afterschool Programs. She holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and brings over 20 years of experience in the afterschool field. Additionally, she was once a participant in the YWCA afterschool program as a student at Mary W. Jackson Elementary, which further deepened her passion for supporting afterschool programs.
