About me
Malia Kema is a Data Specialist at Utah Afterschool Network. She received her bachelors degree in Data Science and Family Studies. Malia's greatest desire is to build a future where data is a tool that can be harnessed to create positive social impacts. During her college experience, Malia discovered her love for after school programs. Working with a variety of them, she found how fulfilling the line of work can be. Malia's love for after school initiatives goes beyond the routine; she sees them as spaces where youth can not only learn and grow academically but also develop crucial life skills and values.
