About me
Deborah Ivie is the state STEM lead faculty for Utah State University Extension. She spends her days helping both formal and informal educators to introduce science, technology, engineering, and math in ways that are fun and interesting to kids of all backgrounds and interests. In the last five years, she has received over 12 million dollars in grant funding from NASA, USDA, and many other sources for youth STEM and afterschool programs. In her spare time she loves visiting Utah's mountains and wild places, playing board games, taking adventures with her seven mostly-grown children, and playing the guitar poorly.
