Music and Movement
Saturday February 22, 2025 10:15am - 11:15am MST
This session helps afterschool professionals more effectively use music in a classroom setting, not only to build connections with their students, but also help them deal with difficult situations, build GRIT, and strengthen a Growth Mindset. This program teaches a basic curriculum that uses music to help strengthen students' knowledge of rhythm, tone, and basic instruments. The main focus of the "Music and Emotion" program is to show how music can be used to help work through difficult situations, show the importance of your emotions, and help build relationships.
