Behavior Management: Is It Really A Problem?
Saturday February 22, 2025 1:30pm - 2:30pm MST
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself if a student's inappropriate behavior is really a problem prior to correcting them? This session is adapted from a Little Flower Yoga teacher training activity and will challenge not only your thoughts and beliefs about your student's behavior, but also your own personal reaction to their behavior. Attendees will be given tools to decipher the difference along with examples and guided activities to explore if the "inappropriate behavior" is really a problem or if it is their reaction to the behavior. Attendees will work together to find solutions and ways to regulate themselves if they discover that the problem is not the student's behavior itself but the participant's reaction to the behavior. Come prepared to challenge yourself and your thoughts.
