Crafting STEM: Creative Hands-on Activities To Spark Kids' Interest and Change The World.
Saturday February 22, 2025 4:00pm - 5:00pm MST
It is no secret that afterschool kids love crafts! Afterschool crafting helps kids learn new interests and find ways to enjoy life. But how do you add that "secret sauce" that turns a craft into a deeper learning experience. This session is a little bit like making zucchini cake: we will hide the "vegetables" of learning in something really sweet. In this session we will create three different hands-on crafts with hidden STEM learning. You will learn how to increase STEM interest through fun and engaging creative experiences, no experience necessary. Bring your creative mind and join us for a relaxing but informative workshop.
