This workshop aims to introduce a Junior high Afterschool Program and the Summer Program model to provide ideas on recruiting and maintaining high Attendance, Academic School Relationships, Behavior Management, Community Engagement, and Family Involvement. The workshop objective is to equip Afterschool programs with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their Coordinator role. They will learn how to recruit students and maintain high ADA, as well as build solid academic relationships with school faculty and administration. We will also provide them with protective factors, community, and family engagement that will assist in behavior management skills to enhance our afterschool and summer programs, ensuring they have the skills and support they need to succeed.
